Basescu-Voiculescu Meeting?

President Traian Basescu and the CP leader Dan Voiculescu, have been seen yesterday, during the same time interval, at the "Taverna Sarbului (The Serbian’s Tavern)" Restaurant in Bucharest. At approximately 2 p.m., the President had been seen entering the restaurant behind the Press House, together with a SPP officer. After a quarter of an hour, the CP President had been seen while leaving the Tavern! The Presidential spokesperson, Adriana Saftoiu, confirmed the presence of Traian Basescu in the Serbian’s Tavern but she denied the meeting with Dan Voiculescu. On the phone, Dan Voiculescu gave us only one answer: "No comment!" (Oana Stancu)
