Euro Prizes for the Electronic Payments

Visa and Mastercard are using the winter Holidays in order to popularize the electronic payments among the card owners.

THE SURPRISE. Buying using the electronic card can bring you prizes that have a total value of 24,000 euros, prizes that can be won by the card owners who, between November the 1st and December the 31st, pay using them.

MASTERCARD. The Mastercard and Maestro owners can win prizes having a total value of 14,000 euros if they pay electronically for shopping and services during the winter Holidays. All the Mastercard and Maestro owners, no matter the place they buy from (in the country or abroad), can take part in this contest. The big prize of the campaign has a value of 10,000 euros, money that will be transferred in the winner’s electronic card account. In the same time, the electronic card owners can win 10 digital cameras 100 voyage sets that have two bags each. For each transaction made, the electronic card owners automatically go in the draw for the second and third prize. Only the transactions higher than 400,000 lei are taken into consideration for the big prize draw. 16 Mastercard financial institutions in Romania take part in the campaign. They are: RCB (Romanian Commercial Bank), RDB - GSG (Romanian Development Bank - Group Societe Generale), Raiffeisen Bank, the Ion Tiriac Bank, Banc Post, Transilvania Bank, HVB Romania, ABN AMRO Bank, RIB, San Paolo IMI Bank, Romanian Bank, Romexterra, Carpatica, Unicredit, Emporiki and Eurom Bank.

VISA. Using the slogan "Ideas of buying gifts come easier when having 1,000 euros", Visa sends its electronic card owners to shop in Bucharest Mall. More than 100 commercial locations that accept electronic payment can be seen here. In exchange, the owners can win prizes regardless of the value of the shopping. For taking part in the contest they have to fill in the participation form after using the electronic card and put the form in the urn. The total value of the prizes is 10,000 euros, each awarded prize valuing 1,000 euros. At the end of November and December there will be draws during which there will be awarded five prizes. More than that, every week-end, the Visa teams will instantly award prizes to the buyers caught paying with the electronic card.
