The 14th annual Expovin Moldova International Exhibition in Chisinau ends today. Compared to the previous years, Romania had a weaker participation.

Producers of wine, liquor and wine-industry machines, as well as consumers meet for this event every year. Sodinal was Romaniaâs only representative company. The company is produces treatment substances for the technologies in the wine industry. "I donât know the reason for my colleaguesâ absence from this exhibition, but we have recorded important salesâ increases after these participations, and this is why we have been attending it constantly since 6 years ago", Constantin Croitoru, Sodinal director, stated for us.
PASSIVE
This year, there have been 180 participants in the event at Moldexpo. They came from 16 countries, among which France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Ukraine. They come at the event only due to the organizersâ invitations. "More than 100 Romanian companies are invited each year. Unfortunately, this year, there arenât so many representatives for Romania", Marina Tiron - organizer and manager - told us. The distributors of wine products and accessories for this industry have received invitations. Among the invited distributors, there were some from Romania as well.ACTIVE
This is considered the most important event of the wine industry in the Moldavian Republic. An International Practical-Scientific Conference, called "In Wine", takes place during the event as well. Here, Romania has been more active. The Romanian scientists have presented three papers: "The Preferences of the Romanian Wine Consumers Regarding the Sensitive Characteristics", "The Influence of the Wine Technologies on The Sensitive Characteristics of the Grasa Wine Sort at the Pietroasa Wine Centre" and "The Adjuvants of Levurian Origins Used in the Wine Scientific Study". "I want to emphasize the mixture of all the wine-related domains at this conference. It is a symbiosis of sciences", Gheorghe Odageriu, scientific explorer of the Romanian Academy, said. On the other hand, Boris Gaina, chief of the Wine Scientific Study Department at the Institute for the Wine Preparation, participant in the conference, noticed that, lately, the Moldavian-Romanian wine industry collaboration has improved.Citește pe Antena3.ro
