A show of losers

Now, when the Americans propose "The Mummy 3," there are rumors on the film market in our country talk about a Romanian similar project. It should be called "The Return of DA Alliance” and is not yet sufficiently clear if we would have to do with a sequel or with a remake (with the same scenario). “The sequel of what?” the growlers would start whispering, leaving from the idea that you cannot continue a line broken a long time ago. “What effect would the remake have if the end is the same?”, other cinema representatives  would start mumbling, convinced that one cannot cry twice at the same drama.

However, all these are problems of the producers. Let us remember on this occasion the basic data of the original scenario.
Traian, long-journey courageous captain, cares a lot about Teo, but life, illness or the blackmails of the barons (it is not clear) divide them. Traian cries with the spectators, but is consoled two scenes later in the arms of Calin, a biker dubbed with all the engine oils. The relationship of the two seems ideal until Monica appears in the game and convinces Traian he is betrayed by an old relation between Calin and Dinu. The captain wants to try Calin and asks him to give up on any life for the public and to dedicate himself only to their relationship. Calin refuses to resign. Angry, Traian asks Monica to seek for help at evil Daniel, who starts chopping Calin up.

In parallel, Traian starts a new life with Emil and Teo, who returns as mysteriously as he left. Next, we see pastoral scenes in which Calin and Traian go around the country. (The film is not recommended for children, for reasons of language and budgetary nudity. The adults didn’t burst into the cinemas in a ratio greater than 49% either).

But life is no longer what it was. The film ends with scenes that remind of the Lord of the Rings, the Dacian version of it. Traian goes through valleys covered by waters, which he tries to master in vain. He thinks again about Calin and the old fraternity and swears not to curse him ever again. For nothing. The last scene finds him near the bizarre profile on the Omu Peak, screaming: "Idiots!"

My question as a spectator is a simple one. Why would anyone continue a movie that doesn’t have any public? The producers made a nice proposition at the beginning. For various reasons, the result was a horror with monsters, which swallow highways and block the exits to Europe. However, the target audience was reached, but in a deadly manner. Life goes forward and millions of utility men used in this film would like something more from it.
