About Basescu’s Loneliness

de Marius Tucă    |    09 Feb 2007   •   00:00
Traian Basescu doesn’t need anyone’s help. He is quite angry with the ones that try to help him. Because, in his sailor mind, the ones that want to help him believe he is weak. One can believe Basescu is anything but weak. This was for the intellectuals who, at the beginning of the 90’s, when Traian Basescu quit all jobs and left for Constanta, didn’t know who he was. In the same way, the ones that care for the fact Basescu is lonely, and some of them are quite merciful, don’t really know what they are talking about. Traian Basescu has always been lonely. Paradox or not, loneliness was and still is his only ally, his only friend. Loneliness was also what made him powerful. He likes to play this role. He likes fighting against everyone. He gets motivated, mobilized, dared, and, I might say, he is asked for it. This is also the reason for which he bluffed for so many times. He was successful every time, because his enemies thought he was weaker and lonelier than ever and had to face a strong reply inverse proportional to his state. His repeated bluffs didn’t teach his political adversaries anything, and they want to suspend him now. God bless, but it seems the idea with the suspension came from Basescu himself.
