North of Bucharest, and close to one of the cityâs last wooded areas, the largest real estate project in Eastern Europe is about to take shape at Baneasa.
In all, there will be three distinct areas on the 1.2 billion euros investment, spanning on 221 hectares: a shopping area dominated by malls; a 3,000 individual dwellings area; and a 160,000 square meters office area. Baneasa Shopping City is the investment to take shape the soonest: by fall 2007. It will cost 150 million euros and will provide 2,000 jobs in the restaurants, the entertainment areas and the 220 boutiques that will fill the 65,000 square meters of rentable space. Baneasa Shopping City together, along the already existing Metro cash & carry, Bricostore Do It Yourself, Mobexpert - the largest furniture maker in Romania, Carrefour, Feeria, and the IKEA shop about to open, will span over 250,000 square meters. Baneasa Shopping City will make a comprehensive shopping and entertainment offer, on a receipt already tested in Romania: apart from shopping in shops proper, customers will be able to see movies, play bowling, skate in an indoors ice-skating ring, and go to a beautician or a health care center - all in 15,000 square meters.Citește pe Antena3.ro
