Data Media Poll - Nastase - 40%, Basescu - 31%, C.V. Tudor - 15 %

Adrian Nastase is the leading candidate for Presidency being top with 40%, followed by Traian Basescu, 9% behind. On the third place we find Corneliu Vadim Tudor, with 15%, according to a poll made by Data Media for the international political counselling company GCS. When talking about the Parliamentary elections, the National Union SDP (Social Democratic Party) + HPR (Humanist Party in Romania) leads with 29%, followed by the NLP (National Liberal Party) - DP (Democrat Party) Alliance with 32% and by GRP (Great Romania Party) with 14%.

The comment attached to the Data Media communiqué shows that "Adrian Nastase and the National Union SDP+HPR gradually increased the gap between them and Traian Basescu and the NLP - DP Alliance since Traian Basescu joined the presidential race."
