The Minister of Education, Mihail Hardau (photo), is to be a victim of future reshuffling right after the country report in September-October, according to sources from the DP leading board. Hardau, who missed taking part in the same group as Gheorgeh Dobre, is allowed to continue his work at the time, because DP couldnât find him a replacement and because of the cross talk between him and PM Tariceanu. On Monday, the PM told the Minister he should have started the projects by now because he received the necessary money. Actually, the liberals say that, during Mondayâs meeting of the Alliance, Traiceanu told DP to find a replacement for the Minister in two weeks time. The DP members deny all of this.
DIFFERENT LECTIONS
This is not the first time when the democrats and the liberals give different information regarding the same matter. NLP (the National Liberal Party) saw the Governmentâs reorganization as a trap for the voting of a new Prime Minister in the Parliament, but the democrats have another interpretation for the 85th Article of the Constitution and say the rejection of the Governmentâs reorganization would have meant the Government stayed in its current form. Pogeaâs dismissal has different repercussion for the two parties as well: Bogdan Olteanu (NLP) says that after a period of 75 days, has to ask the Parliament to approve the new structure of the Government, due to the elimination of this Vice-Prime Minister function. Adriean Videanu (DP) says Olteanu is mistaking, because the Government didnât go to the Parliament because there hasnât been any Control Minister in the past one and a half year, and the attributions of Sorin Vicol have been taken over by Cristi David.
