The deadline for issuing the company registering at the Commerce Registry certificate will be reduced to three days, due to the own responsibility statement, according to a normative document the Government adopted.

The old deadline, of ten days at most available for the issuing of the company registering at the Commerce Registry certificate, is valid only until the publishing in Monitorul Oficial of the new regulation. The regulation forces authorizing the businesspersonâs activity, no matter his organizing form, based on the own responsibility statement, from which it must result he fulfills the necessary legal conditions, after that the control authorities has to check them.
"PLAIN ROMANIA". "We consider that, in Romania, there is a real revolution concerning the bureaucracy", stated for us Eugen Ovidiu Chirovici, president of the National Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperation (NASMEC). Chirovici said that, through the governmental programme "Plain Romania", the own responsibility statement procedure will be generalized. "Plain Romania wants to eliminate the bureaucracy in general in the business environment because, through bureaucracy, the enterprisers donât understand only registering and authorizing, but all it takes to make business in Romania", said Chirovici.
NASMEC has already introduced a method for some of its private programmes.
DETAILS. The standard own responsibility statement must be signed by partners or by administrators and it regards their own activity and will have details regarding the legal working conditions. The Commerce Registry will issue an ascertaining certificate that attests the activities of the businessperson, for which he takes full responsibility, and sends electronically to different competent authorities the database with the legal persons registered this way.
