Romanian President Traian Basescu Makes Bad Jokes on Young Female Journalist

Romanian President Traian Basescu Thursday proved again that style and good manners are not up his alley.

During his visit at the county hospital in Timisoara, western Romania, he was given a crash-course in resuscitation.
As soon as he received the diploma, Basescu volunteered to show his newly acquired skills on the young female journalist who asked him what exactly he had learned during the crash-course.
"I will show you provided you climb up and lay down on this table," said Basescu.

If someone would have made the same invitation to his two daughters, I bet Basescu would not have found it very funny or in good taste.

Basescu ended this week the same way he started it: receiving a diploma for with little or no skills to show for it.

The Brokers Association Monday bestowed upon him an honorary diploma "for his constant support to the capital market."
Problem is: Basescu never really showed such quality, no matter the office he had held.

Maybe these professionals - be they brokers or medical doctors - think that giving Basescu diplomas are safe from the erratic investigation sprees of prosecutors.
