Shakira to Perform In the Romanian Western City of Timisoara

Forty thousand fans will have the opportunity Monday evening to see Colombian pop-singer Shakira perform on the local stadium in Timisoara, western Romania.

Some could not wait till Sunday evening, and leave Bucharest with the special train dubbed Shakira, and left early Sunday, as early as the 5:47 a.m. with the intercity train.

Even the train supervisor was puzzled to find out almost all passengers traveled to Timisoara to see Shakira’s concert.

In Timisoara, most streets are undergoing major repair work, as those in Bucharest are. And yet fans managed to get to and line up in front of the secluded villa the pop star will stay in.

Quietly they assembled and now wait with the notebooks ready to get Shakira sign them and the cameras ready the get pictures of her.

Shakira made an unusual request: that she would have porcelain made cutlery available to take her meals. As a result, the manager of the villa she stays in ordered them from Germany.

She also ordered for huge quantities of ice no one gets what she will be using it for; still, the ice she wanted she got.
