POLITICS - October 16th 2004

The GRP (the Great Romania Party) leader, Corneliu Vadim Tudor, stated yesterday that the manager of the Arad Communications consultancy company, Eyal Arad, sent him a letter in which he demands the quick acquittal of the financial installments.

Vadim admitted that GRP has debts towards the consultancy company. The GRP stated that, by now, approximately half of the sum established in the contract with the Israeli company has been paid, and that the other half will be paid right after the elections, not depending on the result. Vadim seemed very unpleased that "someone in Bucharest" revealed in the press the confidential letter of Eyal Arad and that this is the reason for him being obliged to ask the Israeli company to respect the agreements set by the same contract. He added that the Israeli should do more to improve the GRP abroad image since nothing really happened in this direction. C.V. Tudor also said that the best way in which the company could cover its contract obligations would be clearing the situation the American diplomat Thomas Delare created. He expressed his disappointment that BNS closed a deal with GRP. The GRP leader showed that Michael Guest, "the NLP-DP artisan, who tries to block the GRP ascension in order to make room for "his protégées"", is behind the US Embassy functionary’s measure.
