The rest of the consumers like instant coffee (15.1%), or cappuccino (8.7%). Women like cappuccino more than med do - 12.5% to 4.6% respectively - and most of such customers are aged 18 to 30.
It also seems that the taste for different types of coffee also calls for different number of cups a day. The natural coffee drinkers go for two cups on average, the instant coffee drinkers go for 1.6 cups, while those sipping on cappuccinos take 1.2 cups a day.
Morning is the best time to have a coffee, say 95% of those going for the natural coffee, 66.9% of those drinking ness or instant coffee, and 36.7% of cappuccino drinkers. Lunch time is also good for having a cup of coffee say 35.2% of ness and instant lovers, as compared to the 26.4% of natural coffee drinkers and 24.4% cappuccino addicts.
At the same time, cappuccino seems to be best enjoyed in the afternoon hours or in evening. People who like it black are university graduates, managers, university students or living in Transylvania. Those that sweeten their coffees use around a tea-spoon and a quarter of sugar. The study was carried by Mediafax news wires and was conducted in June 2004 on a sample of 1,223 people living in urban areas, aged 18 to 65.
