Top 300 - Ion Tiriac the Richest Romanian

Businessman Ion Tiriac is the first Romanian billionaire, according to Top 300 the Richest Romanians, edited by the Capital magazine.
He is now in front of Iosif Constantin Dragan whose fortune is still at 850 million US dollars. Sorin Ovidiu Vantu comes third, with a fortune of approximately 750 million US dollars. The Micula brothers and the Paunescu family come in the next two positions, with fortunes estimated at about 700-750 million euros. The 6th place is occupied by businessman Ioan Nicolae, with 500-550 million US dollars, followed by Gigi Becali and Dinu Patriciu, with 400-450 million US dollars. The Voiculescu family are on the 9th place (350 million US dollars), and Dan Grigore Adamescu is 10th (320 million US dollars).
