The Russian Federation doesnât have to fell threatened by the small contingent that the USA is to transfer to Romania is the opinion of the new Washington representative in Bucharest, Nicholas Taubman. During his first press conference since coming to Romania, Taubman showed that Russia, as well as the USA, fights against terrorism and this is something that connects them and makes them mutually understand the measures to be taken in order to knock the threats. "I think the Russians understand this because they have been victims of terrorism. This is the exact purpose of the military bases. I donât believe there are any divergences on this issue between us and the Russians", the USA Ambassador stated, adding that he did not believe that Moscow sees a small contingent as a threat.THE OLD PROBLEMS
